Frequencies

(Seventh week)

This week I learned more about frequencies and in the last post I mentioned it because it is related to the dreams. I’m going to explain it with my words and with the way that I learned because it could be a confusing topic. I am not a scientist or a physicist. The waves of the frequencies could be binaurals or isochronics; the binaurals means that you have to hear them with headphones because they stimulate each ear and each part of your brain. But the isochronics you could hear them without headphones because they stimulate your brain in general, not each hemisphere.

There are four types of frecuencies and each one serves for something, usually most of them are binaurals. This picture could help you to understand it:

Those are only waves, there are not voices or music like in a song.

You could find them in youtube, there are many videos of that. I have used Delta or Beta waves to study and I really feel they help me to be more concentrated and to improve my memory.

Lucid dreams

(Seventh week)

In a previous post I talked about the types of dreams and I wanted to talk more about lucid dreams but it could be an extensive topic. Now i’m going to talk about how to have a lucid dream, i think it could be interesting.

At first, I want to remind that lucid dreams are those in which you realize that you are dreaming, so you can do anything in the dream. There are 2 ways to induce this type of dream:

1. Through sleep paralysis:

The sleep paralysis is when your brain wakes up but your body doesn’t. That has never happened to me but I now most of the time this experience is scary because you feel impotence to can’t move your body, also because there are many myths about sleep paralysis. The important thing is to have the control of the situation, and instead of being scared, you have to fall asleep again. With that is probably that you are going to have an amazing lucid dream.

2. Train the brain

What does it mean? Well, as we now, the dreams reflect what we have in the subconscious so the idea is to think in one crazy thing during all the day like elephants with wings or something like that. This thought will be transmitted to the subconscious and when we see that in our dreams, it will become familiar to us so then we are going to realize that we are in a dream. Also, if you don´t want to imagine crazy things, you could do and repeat a same action several times in a day, like pulling a finger or even  asking yourself  all the day «¿Am I dreaming?».

3. Hear frequencies

Another thing that could help you with that is to hear  frequencies with binaural theta waves and then alpha waves because they help you to relax your body and your brain before sleep. In another post I will talk more about it.

Well, I hope that post help you to know about those dreams and I hope you try it. I could induce a lucid dream with the second way!
